week 3 assignment 3-running record

I watched the running record video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUr1og9lPWM) It was extremely well done. The student did not make many reading mistakes. He seems to be quite a fluent reader however, he does not always stop by the commas and periods. He reads just straight on and on....He did a very good job with the comprehension questions and the out of text questions. He showed understanding of what instincts are. He knew what the words mean. He was able to think about exact examples from the story. He was definitely above average in his understanding and his overall reading. He should be tested on a higher level.
The lesson plan I created for him has parts of it in which the students need to show deep understanding of the lesson. This student really can be challenged to go higher and to next levels. This lesson also focuses on having expression when reading. I think that the student will enjoy it and have the chance to think deeper. A vety big part of this lesson focuses on fluency in reading.
